About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager in Raleigh, NC to lead all aspects of development of strategies for profitable penetration of Siemens Energy power capacitor into new or existing market segments.
- Support the development and execution of account plans to ensure achievement of assigned business goals.
- Make presentations to key customers on a technical level as and when required.
- Guide business development within assigned key accounts and/or markets.
- Develop sponsorship with key decision-makers.
- Handle internal process for actual proposals and drives both the technical solution as well as the final price.
- Manage the internal approval process for each proposal.
- Present the proposal at the customer meeting and lead the negotiation phase of the proposal.
- 30% domestic and international travel required.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience.
- Will accept pre-Bachelor’s degree experience.
- Full term of experience must include: power capacitor bank design;
- Design characteristic of power capacitors and technologies;
- Understanding of grid stability issues;
- Contract analysis and negotiation skills;
- Capacitor market knowledge; and
- Substation equipment knowledge.
- 30% domestic and international travel required.
