Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager in Raleigh, NC to lead all aspects of development of strategies for profitable penetration of Siemens Energy power capacitor into new or existing market segments.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Support the development and execution of account plans to ensure achievement of assigned business goals.
  • Make presentations to key customers on a technical level as and when required.
  • Guide business development within assigned key accounts and/or markets.
  • Develop sponsorship with key decision-makers.
  • Handle internal process for actual proposals and drives both the technical solution as well as the final price.
  • Manage the internal approval process for each proposal.
  • Present the proposal at the customer meeting and lead the negotiation phase of the proposal.
  • 30% domestic and international travel required.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience.
  • Will accept pre-Bachelor’s degree experience.
  • Full term of experience must include: power capacitor bank design;
  • Design characteristic of power capacitors and technologies;
  • Understanding of grid stability issues;
  • Contract analysis and negotiation skills;
  • Capacitor market knowledge; and
  • Substation equipment knowledge.
  • 30% domestic and international travel required.
