Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for a Modifications and Upgrades Applications Engineering Manager in Houston, TX to develop, implement, and monitor key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of applications engineering processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Identify areas for process improvement and work collaboratively with the team to implement enhancements.
  • Consult with subject matter experts, schedule training sessions and facilitate personal development opportunities to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Perform performance evaluations, set objectives, and provide feedback to team members to encourage continuous improvement and career growth.
  • Collaborate with the proposal management team to provide technical bid support.
  • Work closely with purchasing, execution engineering, and project management teams to ensure a timely bid process and a cohesive approach to project execution.
  • Provide resource support to the sales team for customer meetings, site surveys, etc.
  • 10% international/domestic travel required.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience.
  • Full term of experience must include: gas turbine packages focused on the aeroderivative technology;
  • Software tools and technologies used in the applications engineering field (CAD, PLM systems, SAP, etc);
  • Controls systems;
  • Power turbines; and
  • Ancillary systems used in gas turbine packages.
  • 10% international/domestic travel required.
