Snapshot of Your Day:
We are looking for a Commercial Project Manager in Houston, TX to support contract management, risk management and claim management representing commercial aspects with customers and suppliers.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Ensure compliance to commercial standards, rules and regulations.
- Responsible for alignment of contract structure with tax including delegation concepts and NCM models.
- Maintain and report project progress according to project management @Siemens Energy guidelines, including internal and external monthly project reviews, cost controlling and planning.
- Responsible for financial planning and reporting related to target, actual, and forecasted costs and charging dimensions including identification and analysis of variances.
- Ensure identification and management of project portfolio risks and opportunities.
- Handle financials within respective IT systems such as SAP, Project Dash, and AR.
- 10-15% domestic/international travel.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field and 5 years of experience.
- Full term of experience must include: financial planning and reporting;
- Risk and opportunity management;
- Claim management & negotiations;
- Contract management;
- Project accounting;
- SAP, MS Office and Tax; and
- Financial forecasting.
- 10-15% domestic/international travel.
