Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for a Commercial Project Manager in Houston, TX to support contract management, risk management and claim management representing commercial aspects with customers and suppliers.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Ensure compliance to commercial standards, rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for alignment of contract structure with tax including delegation concepts and NCM models.
  • Maintain and report project progress according to project management @Siemens Energy guidelines, including internal and external monthly project reviews, cost controlling and planning.
  • Responsible for financial planning and reporting related to target, actual, and forecasted costs and charging dimensions including identification and analysis of variances.
  • Ensure identification and management of project portfolio risks and opportunities.
  • Handle financials within respective IT systems such as SAP, Project Dash, and AR.
  • 10-15% domestic/international travel.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field and 5 years of experience.
  • Full term of experience must include: financial planning and reporting;
  • Risk and opportunity management;
  • Claim management & negotiations;
  • Contract management;
  • Project accounting;
  • SAP, MS Office and Tax; and
  • Financial forecasting.
  • 10-15% domestic/international travel.
  • The position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
