A Snapshot of Your Day
The Procurement – Team Leader will be tasked with ensuring the cost, quality and delivery obligations are met on all purchase orders. To do this, you must understand the demand requirements from stakeholders, coordinate with various operational support functions and collaborate with our vendors. Additionally, procurement managers will need to manage several buyers and their coordinating commodities, this will include proactive strategic development of the operation process and commodity strategy.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage purchase order backlog in correlation with sales order backlog.
- Develop a team of buyers.
- Drive strategic improvements to operational processes.
- Strategically Manage Various Commodities.
- Foster a strong relationship with our vendors.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or in a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5+ years within a role in Supply Chain, Operations, engineering or in a related role.
- Must be able to travel with regularity as the business needs.
- Must demonstrate the competence to interpret manufacturing prints, grasp common manufacturing processes, and possess a general understanding of the various operational functions / fields.
- Strong communication skills!
