Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for a Commissioning Project Manager in Orlando, FL to plan, prepare and coordinate pre-commissioning and start-up phases of specialist electrical equipment leading to project completion.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Develop and ensure adherence to a detailed commissioning schedule and plan necessary work with third party providers related to the SFC/SEE scope of works.
  • Prepare and/or update a comprehensive commissioning manual related to the SFC/SEE scope of works.
  • Develop SFC/SEE pre-commissioning test procedures and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance and progress reports are produced in accordance with client and legislative requirements.
  • Prepare client acceptance forms and ensure satisfactory sign-off is obtained for the specialist electrical equipment and systems upon completion.
  • 85% domestic travel required.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience.
  • Full term of experience must include: experienced in excitation of the synchronous generators;
  • Trouble shooting experience in power plant environment within a device cabinet as well as plant wide issues; and
  • Commissioning experience of industrial drives or excitation equipment.
  • Experience must also include: at least one programming language that is used in automation/electrical automation used in Siemens devices (Simatic S7 used in Siemens PLC S7-300 or CFC used in Siemens PLC Simatic S7-300/S7-400).
  • 85% domestic travel required.
