A Snapshot of Your Day

As Strategic Portfolio Manager, you will shape and steer the Digital Grid portfolio within Siemens Energy Grid Technologies.

You will operate at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution: owning and scaling high-impact strategic partnerships with leading software players to drive measurable business outcomes and shape the future of the Digital Grid portfolio. In parallel, you will lead cross-functional initiatives, translate market and technology insights into clear strategic direction, and ensure our digital offering is positioned for sustained growth.

You work across functions and geographies, influence senior stakeholders, and move initiatives from concept to execution with speed and accountability. This role requires a true builder mindset: you take ownership, remove obstacles, and deliver results.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Own and drive strategic partnerships with key software players, with focus on implementation and scaling
  • Define and continuously refine portfolio strategy, translating market signals into decisive actions
  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives, aligning product, sales, and regional teams to deliver results
  • Drive joint go-to-market and co-creation efforts with partners and customers
  • Build business cases with clear ROI ownership, tracking value realization over time
  • Communicate with clarity and conviction to influence senior leadership and external partners

What You Bring

  • Degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred (e.g., Master, MBA)
  • 3 or more years of experience in partnerships, strategy, business development, or product strategy, ideally in a software / SaaS environment. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies (e.g., IIoT, Digital Twins, grid software, automation)
  • Ownership mindset with a hands-on, results-driven approach

Travel, as needed.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
