A Snapshot of Your Day

The position is integrated into our dynamic and engaged team as part of the Region North America – Execution Performance department. 

As a Performance Excellence Project Manager, it will be your responsibility to manage cross-functional projects of high importance and strategic priority for Service Operations. The candidate will be depending on establishing strong collaboration with stakeholders through positive attitude, cross-functional collaboration and high level of communication. Essential to drive our productivity targets in Service                  

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Develop and execute plans for complex internal projects. Develop clear business case and prioritization for continuous improvement work in the areas of field service and large component maintenance
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across functions to scope, secure team resources, collect data for baseline performance, verify root cause and document current/future states. Secure robust, sustainable control plans are in place with clear metrics, training, standards and procedures
  • Lead and manage Lean / Six Sigma project portfolios in order to accomplish measurable business process improvements. Calculate and document realized gains, productivity impact and replication opportunities
  • Identify and consolidate regional requirements to global solutions. Manage regional and country specific rollout and support (including existing region-specific solutions)
  • Identify, manage and control regional productivity improvement projects to achieve global targets. Support regional PE head on other strategic challenges as required.
  • Potential to conduct Lean / Six Sigma Trainings and Coaching of participants

What You Bring

  • 5 years of relevant Project Management and/or consulting experience, ideally from the wind or service industry preferred. Experience of project management or operational transformation is an advantage. 
  • Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change are important aspects to make a difference. Technical skills, finance skills and working with business cases are important factors 
  • BS in an Engineering discipline with potential advanced degree in business / project management nice to have or equivalent in field experience preferred 
  • Able to manage multiple projects and tasks based on priority
  • Insights in the area of project execution in large scale construction projects business (power plant projects, infrastructure projects etc.) – wind industry / large scale infrastructure project background is an advantage
  • Structured and demonstrated strong problem-solving skills (strategic, quantitative and organizational / process assignments) taking a holistic end-to-end perspective. Ability to communicate and interact with colleagues and collaborators at all levels in a large, complex and global organization
