Despre rol
A Snapshot of Your Day
This position is an addition to the Service and Project Ownership team to ensure business continuity for critical SAP S4HANA systems. As a Release Management Lead, this role is essential for governing the software release lifecycle within the SAP S4HANA Run & Change organization, directly supporting the stability and evolution of our enterprise platforms. To achieve this, the role is structured around three core areas: strategic release planning and governance, stakeholder coordination and requirements analysis, and quality assurance oversight. This approach ensures a holistic management of the release process, from initial planning and scope definition through to successful deployment and post-release support. Given the focus on process ownership and complex SAP S4HANA environments, the ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert with extensive experience in release management methodologies. Key requirements include strong analytical skills, the ability to act as a liaison between business and technical teams, and a proven track record of leading large-scale software releases.
How You’ll Make an Impact - Own the end-to-end release management lifecycle for enterprise ERP systems, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Define and enforce release governance, policies, quality gates, and controls to ensure production stability.
- Lead release readiness reviews, milestone checkpoints, and business go/no-go decision forums.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and dependencies impacting release scope, timeline, or quality.
- Act as the primary liaison between business, development, QA, and project teams for release alignment.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable release requirements for technical teams.
- Oversee deployments across environments, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Drive post-release evaluation, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with strong focus on release, change, or ERP systems management.
- Proven experience leading complex enterprise ERP releases (e.g., SAP).
- Strong expertise in release, process, and project management methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery, SDLC, and UAT coordination.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and enterprise workflow tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skills.
- Excellent collaboration, stakeholder management, and strategic communication abilities.
