Join our dynamic Software Platform Engineering team as a Working Student and kick-start your career in a global, innovative environment! Imagine translating complex engineering concepts into clear, user-friendly documents that empower both technical and non-technical collaborators. You will engage with modern tools and technologies, including LaTeX, Bitbucket, and Git, while crafting essential technical documentation. Your contributions will not only support our mission for sustainability but also help craft the future of renewable energy.


How You’ll Make an Impact

This position is designed for a working student, requiring a commitment of 15-25 hours per week. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring flawless technical documentation that adheres to the highest standards. Specifically, you will:

  • Develop and maintain a variety of technical documentation, including electrical system overviews and wiring diagrams.
  • Develop installation and commissioning manuals, control cabinet schematics, and safety compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product teams to gather and interpret data effectively.
  • Manage documentation workflows using version control systems like Git and Bitbucket.
  • Convert STEP files into 2D/3D models using Creo or UG, ensuring document quality and accuracy.


What You Bring

We are looking for candidates who are ambitious and determined to excel in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.
  • Some experience in technical writing for electrical/control systems is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of EMC, CE, or LV/MV/HV safety guidelines is a plus.
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written, with a proactive and service-minded attitude.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems, electrical drawings, and tools like Creo, UG, AutoCAD, or EPLAN.
