A Snapshot of Your Day
This role is dedicated to the strategic design of digital end-to-end processes across the product lifecycle. It emphasizes the close alignment between business and IT, the development of scalable integration architectures, and the establishment of sustainable standards to support digital transformation within a business area comprising four independently operating units. We are seeking an experienced architect (f/m/d) with deep expertise in the strategic alignment of PLM processes and data, and their integration into the digital enterprise landscape. Ideal candidates will bring a strong background in designing scalable end-to-end processes, bridging business and IT perspectives, and driving digital transformation and innovation.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Providing strategic mentorship and support for collaborators in driving digital PLM initiatives, encouraging alignment between business and IT, and crafting unified PLM strategies.
- Design scalable process and data architectures for PLM systems, ensuring seamless integration with ERP, MES, CAD, and CRM. Maintain compliance with architectural standards and strategic directives through close coordination with IT and business units.
- Drive the end-to-end digitalization of PLM processes across the entire product lifecycle, continuously identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Define and establish standards for data management, integration, and data models, ensuring data quality and compliance across all relevant domains.
- Coordinate PLM initiatives across multiple projects, ensuring consistent and reusable solutions. Support roadmap planning and evaluate the impact on PLM processes and data.
What You Bring
- A degree or equivalent experience in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable field with a focus on digital systems and product development.
- Extensive experience in developing strategic PLM architectures and deep knowledge in defining data models and governance structures.
- Longstanding professional experience in IT architecture and PLM systems, ideally in an international environment.
- Expertise in crafting scalable end-to-end processes across the entire product lifecycle.
- Proven ability to work with executives and collaborators to support strategic goal alignment with a solid background in technology or process consulting within the PLM domain.
- Proficiency in English and a willingness to travel for cross-site coordination.
