A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking an SAP Implementation Specialist based in our Raleigh office! This role will be instrumental in integrating SAP systems across all operational areas, with a significant emphasis on SCM processes, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems). The specialist will coordinate the SAP implementation to improve our project results, manufacturing processes, product lifecycle management, and supply chain efficiencies, serving as a crucial link between local operations and global initiatives!
- Address daily SAP-related challenges at our GT NA locations, focusing on customization, master data, and process optimization, particularly within the SCM and FI.
- Work from the Raleigh office with options for remote work as needed, conducting workshops, meetings, and consultations either in-person or via telecommunication.
- Collaborate with an international team of SAP key users to ensure that local needs are coordinated into our global SAP S/4 HANA solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Optimize and enhance processes using SAP to improve operational efficiencies and performance for Grid Technologies North America
- Develop and implement SAP-based solutions for ERP processes, applying standard SAP tools to meet local and global needs, specifically in the areas of SCM, PLM, and M.E.S..
- Provide consultancy and support on daily business process issues, ensuring alignment with broader company strategies.
- Implement standardized ERP process modules to minimize disruptions in business processes, particularly those affecting supply chain operations.
- Act as the primary local contact for the development and deployment of the new S/4 SAP ERP system, ensuring flawless integration and functionality across all critical areas including SCM, PLM, and M.E.S..
- Lead local change management for the Manufacturing & Quality division, optimally presenting upcoming changes from the new SAP system and coordinating requirement gathering from the GT NA businesses
What You Bring
- University degree or equivalent experience in one of the following Engineering, Accounting, or related fields.
- Solid understanding of SAP logistics modules (SD, MM, PP, QM) and basic understanding of LO, (E)WM, and CO (in conjunction with PP).
- Proven experience with SAP applications passionate about plant processes and a deep understanding of SCM, PLM, and M.E.S integrations within the SAP landscape.
- Proficient in documenting processes and knowledgeable about SAP table relationships and database structures for setting up queries.
- Excellent communication skills for effective local and global interaction.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for global collaboration and NA site training.
