A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Product Cost Manager, your day will be dynamic and impactful. You'll be at the forefront of managing product cost baselines and establishing a pipeline of cost reduction measures to ensure product cost remains inline with business case margin expectations. Your role will involve driving these measures from idea generation to DI-5, ensuring that SV cost baselines remain unaffected or improved, and that through-life cycle costs are achievable. You'll collaborate closely with various teams, including the PLC teams to ensure that cost measures do not compromise the serviceability and reliability of the product and vis versa. Your work will be crucial in maintaining the balance between cost efficiency and product quality, contributing significantly to Siemens Energy's mission of delivering sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Manage product cost baselines and project by project cost projections and establish a pipeline of cost measures.
• Drive cost measures from idea generation to DI-5.
• Ensure SV cost baselines are not impacted, and through-life cycle costs are achieved.
• Ensure cost measures do not impact the serviceability and reliability of the product.
• Contribute toward developing the transfer price between AGT and GCO

• Proven experience in managing product cost baselines and cost measures.
• Strong skills in driving cost measures from idea generation to implementation.
• Ability to ensure cost measures do not impact serviceability and reliability.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A strategic and detail-oriented mindset, with a passion for optimizing product costs without compromising quality.

About the Team  

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
