In this role, you’ll help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and operational safety—directly contributing to reliable global energy infrastructure.

You’ll work hands‑on alongside test engineers and technicians, collaborating closely with customers and cross‑functional teams including engineering, production, quality, and project execution. You’ll also play a key role in developing and improving test procedures, solving technical challenges, and promoting a safe, collaborative work environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Execute high‑voltage testing for power transformers in compliance with standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure safe test operations and proactively address safety risks.
  • Develop, improve, and troubleshoot test procedures, systems, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve test issues and support root cause analysis.
  • Maintain calibrated test equipment and accurate test documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement and early integration of test requirements in product development.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience in high‑voltage electrical testing (transformer manufacturing or related).
  • Knowledge of transformer test standards and quality methodologies.
  • Experience with test equipment, data acquisition systems, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong safety mindset, problem‑solving skills, and communication abilities.
  • Flexibility for shift work and occasional international travel.
  • If not already located in Charlotte, NC, the selected candidate must be willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided).
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current employer-sponsored work authorization. Those candidates with current US work authorization could be considered for a transfer.
