Over de functie
- Leadership, mentoring, and development of a high-performance culture across a multi-team department, including subordinate managers and team leaders
- Definition and execution of the Order Execution operational strategy with long-term (1–3 year) alignment to Order Management objectives
- Budget ownership (revenue and project profit), resource allocation, and performance tracking against key business KPIs to achieve operational and financial targets
- Executive-level communication on departmental strategy, performance, and risks to support informed strategic decision-making
- End-to-end oversight of the order execution lifecycle (from EN to SCM, OM, QM, MF, LOG) including quality assurance, timeliness, and escalation management for complex issues
- Continuous process improvement (e.g., process On-Time Delivery) and cross-functional coordination with adjacent functions and key customers to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- More than 10 years of extensive professional experience in order or project management, sales operations, or supply chain management, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Proven senior leadership experience with responsibility for multi-layered teams and the development of other managers
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, process optimization, and the management of complex, high-volume order-to-cash cycles
- Strong leadership and strategic capabilities combined with solid business acumen and a high level of accountability
- Proficiency in order management systems, SAP applications, and continuous improvement methodologies
