As a Field Operations AI Change Agent, you play a pivotal role in modernizing how operational teams work, interact with digital tools, and deliver field excellence. You combine operational knowledge, project management discipline, and digital solution expertise to bridge the gap between frontline needs and evolving technologies. Your day involves engaging with stakeholders across field operations, back-office teams, digital product owners, and leadership to identify inefficiencies, define improvement opportunities, deploy AI-enabled solutions, and champion adoption of new tools and processes that enhance safety, performance, and organizational efficiency.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Identify operational friction across field and back-office processes and design AI-assisted solutions that streamline planning, documentation, reporting, and decision-making.
- Develop and deploy digital tools, copilots, and automation that enhance safety, improve data accessibility, and increase technician and office productivity.
- Evaluate existing processes end-to-end and introduce scalable improvements using AI, automation, and low-code technologies.
- Lead or support improvement initiatives from scoping to execution, ensuring alignment with operational targets, system capabilities, and stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate across technical teams, functional departments, and field leadership to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with sustained adoption.
- Develop project plans, track milestones, manage risks, and communicate progress to key stakeholders.
- Drive organization-wide adoption of new tools, workflows, and digital practices through structured change management methods.
- Translate complex digital concepts into simple, user-friendly messaging that supports learning and builds user confidence.
- Develop and deliver training, job aids, demos, and user readiness strategies to support smooth transitions.
- Partner closely with field teams to gather insights, pain points, and improvement opportunities that shape digital tool development.
- Ensure digital solutions reflect real-world operational requirements, safety standards, and practical use cases.
- Establish feedback loops and continuously refine tools, processes, and AI agents based on user input and evolving organizational needs.
- Collaborate with planning, scheduling, documentation, engineering, and PMO teams to improve internal workflows and reduce administrative burden.
- Strengthen data quality, reporting accuracy, and process reliability across operational functions.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures, knowledge libraries, and best-practice resources.
What You Bring
- Experience in field operations, digital transformation, project management, or operational excellence.
- Working knowledge of AI tools, low-code/no-code platforms, automation technologies, or digital workflow solutions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to analyze processes, identify root causes, and design practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics and engage with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience supporting digital adoption, training, user onboarding, or navigating change in an operational environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical, operational, and leadership groups.
- Certifications or experience in project management (e.g., PMP), change management (e.g., PROSCI), or continuous improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) are an advantage.
