About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
- Lead the commercial review and negotiation of customer contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives, financial guidelines, risk management requirements, and commercial compliance standards
- Manage the Commercial Bid Release process, including preparation and coordination of Limit of Authority (LoA) submissions, bid approvals, and commercial documentation required to support successful bid execution
- Support bid preparation activities by providing commercial guidance, evaluating contractual risks and opportunities, and conducting win/loss analyses to strengthen future sales strategies and business performance
- Manage order entry activities and conduct regular pipeline reviews in partnership with sales leadership to support forecast accuracy, commercial visibility, and revenue growth objectives
- Serve as a liaison between customers, sales, production, and distribution teams to support order fulfillment, issue resolution, and effective cross-functional collaboration throughout the sales process
- Prepare commercial and financial analyses, variance reporting, and management updates while supporting system enhancements, process improvements, and strategic business initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in commercial sales, contract management, bid management, financial analysis, sales operations, or a related commercial role within a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of contract review, contract negotiation, commercial terms and conditions, risk assessment, pricing analysis, sales operations, and commercial compliance practices
- Experience working with SAP, Salesforce, and other business systems, with the ability to independently manage commercial analyses, contract reviews, bid processes, and reporting activities
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced commercial environment
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
