A snapshot of your day
You guide the daily execution of complex industrial projects by coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, clarifying technical dependencies, and keeping schedule, scope, risks, and communication aligned. You engage in technical discussions to unblock progress, ensure integrations move forward, and translate decisions into actionable plans—without acting as the engineering lead. Your day is a mix of structured coordination, rapid issue‑solving, and ensuring that builds, tests, and commissioning activities stay on track.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead day‑to‑day project management across cross‑functional engineering teams, maintaining schedule, scope, budget, risks, and governance.
- Coordinate technical workstreams (automation, OT/IT, data, cybersecurity) and ensure decisions, impacts, and dependencies are captured in plans and schedules.
- Run lean cadences (standups, tech huddles, integration checkpoints) focused on unblocking builds, interfaces, and tests.
- Tie sprints and tasks to validated technical outcomes (e.g., device connectivity, protocol communication, data alignment, applied security, FAT/SAT readiness).
- Maintain readiness gates for builds, testing, and commissioning while monitoring telemetry/logs to identify issues early.
- Work directly with customer technical teams to resolve problems quickly and align expectations.
- Document technical decisions immediately and synchronize impacts with engineering leads, including mitigations and rollout adjustments.
- Enable engineers by providing structure, rapid information flow, and friction‑free coordination.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; preferably you hold PMP or IPMA certificate (you could also have Scrum Master or Scrum Product Owner certificates)
- 4+ years of experience managing technical projects in industrial environments (automation, OT/IT, digitalization, energy, Oil&Gas, manufacturing).
- Familiarity with following technologies of DCS/PLC/SCADA systems, OT/IT architectures, industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, PROFINET, Modbus), networking (TCP/IP), and hybrid cloud/edge setups (Azure/AWS, on-prem/edge integration); and cybersecurity principles (e.g., IEC 62443). Comfortable following and challenging engineering discussions while engineering teams own design and decisions.
- Proficiency with Jira or Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project.
- Strong facilitation and negotiation skills; able to lead multidisciplinary teams without directing technical design.
- You are fluent in English and clear, concise communicator able to bridge business and technical stakeholders.
- You should have strong experience from international environment as this position has global exposure.
- Experience applying Agile methods and solving integration challenges in complex technical projects.
