A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Lead for Modernization and upgrade (M&U) & DR Legacy Business in AP, you will be coaching & driving the sales team in AP region to manage & coordinate all M&U & DR Legacy Business activity during the various project development phases, from opportunity development through order entry. You will also deliver the successful sales campaigns and customized service for Steam turbine & Generator portfolio in Oil & Gas, Mining, Industrial and Power Generation market segments. We are looking for an experienced technical Sales Professional who will actively manage advance business and drive customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will be encouraged to collaborate closely with the customers O&M team for early business development and handle the respective relationships and develop and implement the project sales strategies to secure orders for Siemens Energy products and services. You will identify the client project evaluators, influencers and decision-makers in customer organization and drive the Siemens Energy value at each stage of acquisition cycle.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead AP region M&U & DR Legacy Business by supporting sales and sales support team and collaborate with different business areas to drive early engagement for ensuring profitable business and balanced growth.
- Develop and implement sales strategy for M&U & DR Legacy Business within Steam turbine & Generator business area.
- Support in structuring the liaison with business partners (Distributors & agents) and SE increase market capture.
- Gather and share relevant knowledge (customer buying behavior, industry, market, competitor, and portfolio information) to drive business development.
- Training and mentoring sales team for developing a clear G2M strategy, the sales capture plan incorporating customer needs, M&U strategy, and a robust market level pricing recommendation based on the assessment of competition position.
- Leading & supporting the team in technical clarification, negotiations until contract closure by clearly articulating SE value proposition Vs the competition.
- Develop new growth areas beyond our conventional product & solution offers by successful sales campaigns in the O&G, mining, and energy market to increase the business opportunities and pipeline of SE.
- Steer the organization from product to solution-based offer by developing a process/dedicated attitude in the team.
- Demonstrate conflict leadership skills, sense of accountability, and have the ability to work under time pressure. Possess persuasive presentation and effective communication skills - both verbal and written across various cultures.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally required.
- Plan, coordinate and participate in conferences and trade shows.

What You Bring
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering required with proven experience 15 years of experiences in Energy industry with at least 12 years in technical sales / business development / Customer relationship management role.
- Strong technical understanding and experience in Steam turbine and generator required.
- Winning personality, able to listen and understand customer's views, able to communicate clearly to various audiences.
- Must be proficient in English language.
- Ability to lead the team and interact with all levels within customer organization, strong analytical and strategic problem solver with a focus on technical differentiation and value selling.
- Proficient in communication, both written and spoken, able to discuss technical and commercial aspects; Strong presentations skills, both written and oral at all levels.
- Willingness to travel as required.
