A Snapshot of Your Day

  • We’re looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Leader to lead our Indonesia team. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth and customer engagement across multiple project development phases—from initial opportunity through to order completion. You’ll play a key role in delivering tailored service solutions for our Steam Turbine and Generator portfolio across the Oil & Gas, Mining, Industrial, and Power Generation sectors.
  • In this role, you will lead team & engage proactively with customers’ Operations & Maintenance teams to identify early business opportunities and nurture long-term partnerships. You will be responsible for developing and driving tailored sales strategies aimed at securing orders for Siemens Energy’s products and services. A key aspect of the role involves mapping and influencing the client organization—identifying project evaluators, key influencers, and decision-makers—to efficiently communicate and reinforce Siemens Energy’s value proposition throughout every phase of the acquisition cycle.
How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Be responsible for the sales and support teams across the country, driving early engagement and a strong sales pipeline to meet targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for the Steam Turbine & Generator service portfolio.
  • Manage relationships with business partners to expand market reach.
  • Provide market and competitor insights to support business development.
  • Mentor and own the team on go-to-market strategies, pricing, and customer-focused selling.
  • Support technical clarifications and negotiations, emphasizing Siemens Energy’s value.
  • Drive growth through strategic campaigns in Oil & Gas, Mining, and Energy sectors.
  • Nurture a solutions-based sales approach across the organization.
  • Navigate fast paced situations with strong communication and conflict leadership skills.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the energy industry, including at least 12 years in technical sales, business development, or customer relationship management.
  • In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience with steam turbines and generators.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage optimally across diverse audiences and stakeholder levels.
  • Proficient in both English and Bahasa, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and interface expertly with all levels of customer organizations.
  • Strategic thinker with sharp analytical skills and a focus on value-based selling and technical differentiation.
  • Excellent presentation capabilities and commercial skill.
  • Willing and able to travel 50% of time, including internationally.
