A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Stator Winder B, you will perform intermediate-level winding, blocking, and banding operations on large generator stators while ensuring all work meets quality and engineering specifications. You will prepare and apply resin, set up stators for heat-cycle processing, and use precision measuring equipment to verify product quality. Throughout the day, you will operate shop tools and material-handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will also support and mentor less experienced operators on B-level winding processes and best safety practices.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Perform stator winding, blocking, banding, and resin application processes according to technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Prepare, mix, and apply resin materials and set up stators for heat-cycle operations.
  • Operate shop tools, including grinders, sanders, drills, and hand tools, to support manufacturing activities.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to inspect and verify product quality and dimensional compliance.
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to safely move materials and finished components throughout the facility.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality by adhering to all safety protocols and providing guidance to less experienced operators.

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4+ years of industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred.
  • Forklift Operator License and Overhead Crane License, or the ability to obtain and maintain certification.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment and interpreting basic manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely operate shop tools and material-handling equipment.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
