A Snapshot of Your Day
Join us as a FACTS Solution Architect (SA) and become a pivotal part of our organization! You will drive early technical engagement with customers, operators, and regulators, ensuring our solutions align with our portfolio while introducing innovative technologies. By analyzing customer needs from the outset, you will guide the development of advanced and commercially viable solutions. Collaborating closely with Sales, Tendering, and Product Lifecycle Management, you will ensure seamless integration of expertise from the very beginning. Your proactive communication style will foster a positive project team spirit, encouraging others to share in the excitement of achieving common goals.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Define and review technical requirements, ensuring alignment on performance, interfaces, and standards
- Be involved in early technical engagement with customers, operators, and regulators to align solutions and promote new technologies
- Support grid planning and integration, contributing to future concepts and expansion strategies
- Lead and coordinate technical solution development during the pre-acquisition and tender phase across international teams
- Collaborate with Sales and Tender teams on market development, bids, and pre-acquisition activities
- Analyze market trends, support solution development with PLM teams, and contribute to industry standards and thought leadership (e.g., IEEE)
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Extensive engineering experience, preferably in FACTS technology
- Knowledge of power system and network stability analysis
- Experience with international technical standardization is an advantage
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills for working in multicultural environments
- Proficiency in negotiation, teamwork, leadership, and excellent English skills (German is a plus)
