A Snapshot of Your Day

As Service Process Lead (f/m/d) within Transformation of Industry you will own the end-to-end service processes for our business area in the context of our SAP S/4HANA transformation program. Your focus is on defining, standardizing, and governing how service processes should work across the organization. You ensure that service processes are designed from a business perspective, reflect operational realities, and support long-term business objectives. In this role, you act as the central business representative for service processes within the Steam Turbines and Generators business. You work closely with global process owners, business stakeholders, IT, and project teams to ensure that future service processes are harmonized, scalable, and fit for purpose across different regions and entities.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Own and shape the end-to-end service processes for the Steam Turbines and Generators business within the S/4HANA transformation program
  • Define, standardize, and continuously improve service business processes with a strong focus on business value, operational feasibility, and long-term sustainability
  • Represent the service perspective of the business area in global design discussions and ensure that business requirements are reflected in future process standards
  • Drive alignment between global process standards and local business requirements, while challenging unnecessary deviations
  • Act as the main point of contact for service process topics within TI STG and create transparency across stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business and project teams to define process requirements and support their implementation in the S/4HANA template and rollout approach
  • Ensure seamless end-to-end process design across relevant service activities, such as service planning, execution, billing, and related interfaces
  • Support organizational readiness by helping rollout entities understand and adopt future service process standards
What You Bring
  • Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Business Informatics, or a comparable field with a strong business focus
  • Several years of experience in end-to-end service business processes and tools (e.g. SAP FSM, TCTP, Salesforce), ideally in an industrial or mechanical engineering environment
  • Experience in shaping or improving business processes in transformation programs, ideally in an SAP S/4HANA-related environment
  • Strong understanding of how service organizations work across the full lifecycle, for example in areas such as service execution, maintenance, service planning, billing, spare parts, or installed base-related processes
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear process requirements and to work effectively with both business and IT stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of global process standardization combined with sensitivity for local execution requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent English and good German
