A Snapshot of Your Day

Winston Technology Center's supports internal customers within the service operations, global supply chain to support the global fleet with high quality turbine components with right cost at right time. As senior cost engineer, you will drive cost improvement and efficiency of direct material, make/buy decision and critical operational choices from cost perspective. Your leadership is vital to operational performance and supporting our sustainable growth at Winston.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Embed CVE principles in daily operations across teams
  • Translate shopfloor expertise into cost and value transparency
  • Apply CVE to identify cost drivers and optimize manufacturing/sourcing
  • Support in target setting based on customer needs, competitor analysis, and capability assessment.
  • Strengthen CVE community internally
  • Collaborate with suppliers and production sites for cost/value opportunities- Bridge manufacturing insights with business-level decision

What You Bring

  • Experience: 10+ years in engineering roles with a strong background in cost engineering; international exposure and cross-cultural collaboration experience required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering; master’s degree in engineering preferred.
  • Interest or experience in cost analysis; willingness to grow into cost engineering
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing steps, materials, and process flows
  • Analytical mindset connecting technical details to cost drivers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; interest in learning specialized tools (TcPCM, aPriori, NX)
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration- Plus: value stream mapping, workshop facilitation, or project coordination experience
