A Snapshot of Your Day
In coordination with the relevant internal Siemens Energy (SE) team members, you lead the development of opportunities and offers for service of the rotating equipment (large gas turbines, steam turbines and generators) at the power plants of our external customers. Throughout the process, you lead communication with customers ensuring the offer meet their needs and expectations as much as technically possible. Once the technical clarification of the services/ products/solutions to be offered has been completed, you are responsible for preparing the commercial offer and collaborate in the negotiation with the customer according to SE internal guidelines, existing framework agreements and SE standard terms and conditions.
Your customers will be the main power generation Utilities and IPPs in Israel.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Analyze customer’s requirements and RFQs to clearly understand objectives, scope, timelines, negotiation points and evaluation criteria.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, field service, hub sales, operations, EQHS, and finance, to gather vital Information and develop strong proposals.
- Ensure that all technical topics relevant to the project are included in proposals, including personal and material resources (e.g. tools, consumables), special services (e.g. NDT, welding, on-site special services), and HSE, as well as the as-sold time schedule according to the technical scope.
- Contribute to develop strategies and tactics for negotiating contract terms, pricing, and other relevant aspects to achieve mutually helpful agreements. Engage in consultations with customers to address concerns, overcome objections, and find common ground to reach favorable outcomes.
- Develop structured and clear written proposals that include both the technical content and the appropriate commercial terms.
- Steer and follow up spare part offerings according to customer requests. Proactively develop offerings according to known needs and requirements…
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential clients, leading the entire sales process from lead generation to deal close phase.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensure accuracy of Sales Force (CRM) system and provide regular updates to the management team.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Have proven experience in gas/steam turbine and generator services in sales and/or project management.
- Knowledge and experience of the local power generation market.

- Communicate technical information effectively in Hebrew and English (German preferred), with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit strong leadership and the ability to work with diverse, international teams.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects under tight time frame while handling customer pressure.
- Have good sales skills and a structured approach to work, ensuring all project aspects are accounted for.
- Be focused, organized, open to feedback, and able to collaborate and innovate within a team.
- Teamwork ability, strong collaborative attitude aligning opportunities and sales/pricing strategies with colleagues on the team.
- Creative thinking to develop innovative Solutions and approaches.
