A Snapshot of Your Day

Working as part of a dynamic team that provides tooling support to the Siemens Energy Field Service Organization. The Production Manager is responsible for ensuring tooling readiness by leading personnel and managing tool demands based on Outage Forecasting. The safety and development of the employees is of the highest priority while, also, delivering a quality product on time.

Leadership, management, communication, and data management skills will be used daily to ensure the satisfactory completion of tasks and projects. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment where LEAN practices were applied to deliver finished products. The successful candidate will be proactive, hands on and able to make improvements that will drive our business forward!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Supervise and lead production staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with environment, health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principals and methodologies, identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 5 years of industry related experience or High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of equivalent technical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations/project management/LEAN is preferred.
  • Foster team dynamics and develop competencies within the team.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with in computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, SAP, etc.; Knowledge of Tableau is a plus.
  • Some travel (10%) required.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
