A Snapshot of Your Day 

We are seeking a Product Manager to be part of the Grid Enhanced Technology team and responsible for our Overhead Line Digitalization Portfolio (within our overhead line monitoring and assessment solutions group). Our solutions are providing vital information for our customers to digitalize the grid, maintain grid operations amidst growing demand and complexity. This role is essential in driving the growth and success of our Overhead Line Digital Solution Empowering Utilities – Grid Operators to improve efficiency, reliability, and resilience through digital solutions. You will directly get in contact with customers for interviews, co-creation and support of marketing and sales activities.

Your day involves responding to global stakeholder queries, defining future portfolio strategies with the team, outlining R&D work packages, and supervising implementation progress. This requires close collaboration with development, market applications, operations, and purchasing.

As a key member of our skilled team with varied strengths, you share our values and strive to turn challenges into valuable solutions for customers. Traveling to visit customer sites to enable and support sales and project execution of our product line – while gaining operational insights on customer value proposition and defining the digital adaptation journey with our customers.

To be specific, this role requires a strategic approach, technical expertise, and market insight to continue to drive a scalable, modular platform that integrates seamlessly with third-party data sources and services, delivering outstanding value to customers worldwide. 


How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to identify new opportunities and refine the product roadmap. 
  • Work closely with customers / market to understand their challenges, gather feedback, and ensure the product meets the evolving market needs. 
  • Use your know -how in product management and domain expertise in digital solutions to drive the overhead line digital portfolio. Define and communicate a clear market validated product vision and roadmap.
  • Ensure the future growth and market potential of the overhead line digitalization solution by supporting business functions like global sales, market applications or operations
  • Collaborate with our R&D, engineering and tech teams to define clear market/product requirements and monitoring of the implementation to deliver high – quality scalable solutions within budget and timelines. 
  • Supervising the development of products and services and coordinate phase-in and phase-out/succession planning.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Masters in Science or equivalent experience
  • Previous customer product management experience in industrial (preferably utility) environments (experience in energy, digital solutions or grid infrastructure with strong technical knowledge or grid technology and business models preferred)
  • Industry-relevant product management certifications; Ability to handle highly dynamic product development
  • Prior experience leading digital platforms or SaaS products, or business development aspect of such solutions
  • Demonstrated capacity to collaborate across global teams. Brings a proactive, customer-centric, and solution-oriented attitude, with an entrepreneurial approach to decision-making.
