A Snapshot of Your Day 

As the Vendor Management Specialist for the SAP PD2 to S4Hana transition, you will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) representing the Business Process Group, responsible for defining and integrating requirements for future processes, ensuring business continuity and improvement of the Purchase Order Requisitioning processes into S4Hana.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Map and optimize the vendor evaluation and selection process for the S4Hana integration.
  • Improve and continually support our vendor's financial performance processes to ensure they meet our standards and expectations.
  • SME on the purchase requisitioning processes, including the full processing of purchase order requisitions to Purchase Order to the approval of vendor invoices.
  • Integrate and improve current processes into S4Hana to ensure timely delivery of products or services.
  • Vendor master data governance validation.
  • Monitor and solve any vendor-related transactional issues, such as delivery errors, contract disputes, purchase order deficiencies, etc.
  • Develop strategies for improving supply chain data efficiency to reduce costs.

What You Bring 

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience is required
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes and inventory management systems.
  • Experience working in a diverse fast paced environment with many stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • SAP PD2, SAP PS1, and SAP PT2 experience.
  • Nextgen P2P, Master Data Governance (MDG) and Ariba Guided Buying.
  • Experience using MS Office Suite and Office 365 with SharePoint.
  • Experience working with Purchasing and Vendor contracts.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
