Join our dynamic team as a Field Service Technician focused on logistics and coordination! You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of project equipment, materials, and tools to our Orsted NEP warehouses in North Kingston and Providence, Rhode Island. Imagine receiving and inspecting deliveries, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with our Offshore Team to manage logistics for the Offshore Platform. Your efforts will directly support our mission to deliver high-quality service and materials, making a significant impact on our operations. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Coordinate with Siemens-Energy logistics departments and Orsted NEP to facilitate the delivery of project equipment and materials to our warehouses.
  • Inspect and receipt SE equipment and materials, promptly notifying the project of any damages or missing items.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of SE materials and equipment stored in North Kingston and Providence warehouses.
  • Travel occasionally to New York State and Long Island to support the delivery and inspection of offshore and onshore spares.
  • Collaborate with the Offshore Team and Site Manager to manage the transport of equipment and materials to the Offshore Platform, including creating manifests and coordinating logistics.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor or Associate Degree.
  • North Kingstown, RI 02852. The office location. 
  • A strong commitment to safety and adherence to Siemens-Energy HSE standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and logistics effectively.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and coordinate with various teams and partners.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in inspections and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for project support.

You will be part of a dedicated team that focuses on logistics and personnel transfer support for Siemens-Energy’s offshore projects. Our team is committed to ensuring that all equipment and personnel are efficiently managed, enabling smooth operations on the Offshore Platform. We work closely with our partners, including Aker Solutions, to create a collaborative logistics approach that enhances our service delivery. Together, we strive to uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency in all our operations.
