Are you an experienced IT leader with a passion for driving technological excellence in a global manufacturing environment? We're looking for a highly capable Head of IT Business Partner to fully own all IT topics for our Industrial Steam Turbines and Generators (SE TI STG) business unit worldwide. This critical role demands a strategic problem solver with exceptional communication and leadership skills to manage a diverse IT landscape and drive innovation.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Serve as the single point of contact and ultimate owner for all IT matters within the Industrial Steam Turbines and Generators business unit, ensuring IT strategy aligns with business goals.
  • Take full ownership of site-specific IT services and their budgets across all SE TI STG locations globally, including daily operations in a factory environment across Europe, Americas, and India. You'll also manage all IT project budgets impacting the business unit.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 20 IT professionals across Europe and Asia, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Build strong relationships and maintain close coordination with SE TI STG business unit management and key partners, effectively communicating IT initiatives and challenges.
  • Consult on and implement IT projects that directly support STG's strategic objectives, with a focus on identifying and integrating AI use cases to enhance operational efficiency and innovation.
  • Collaborate effectively with IT peers to ensure consistent IT strategies and standard methodologies.

What You Bring
  • High school degree or equivalent experience in Information Technologies, Data Science or similar.
  • Demonstrated success in IT management, project coordination, and overseeing complex IT operations, particularly within manufacturing or factory environments.
  • A track record of leading and developing diverse IT teams.
  • Knowledge of AI use cases and their practical implementation to drive business value.
  • Proficiency in both German and English, with good communication and coordination skills, enabling effective engagement with all levels of management and partners.
  • Experience in a comparable industry, with the ability to strategically guide and manage the digitalization journey for an entire area in alignment with executive leadership.
