Snapshot of your day
The Chief Architect is the strategic and technical leader responsible for defining the architectural vision for the SVD product portfolio. You will be the principal authority on technology direction, ensuring solutions are built on scalable design and robust engineering practices aligned with long-term business goals.

You will work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into sustainable architectural blueprints. By establishing standards and best practices, you will guide the integration of cross-product capabilities like cloud-native applications, web APIs, data analytics, mobile solutions, UI/UX, and visualization.

As a key influencer in strategic decision-making, you will evaluate emerging technologies, conduct make-vs-buy assessments and ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will mentor technical teams, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and driving continuous improvement in architectural quality.

An Enterprise Architect (EA) aligns business goals with IT infrastructure, bridging technical solutions and business outcomes to ensure a scalable and efficient technology stack. This role suits a seasoned technologist who excels at solving complex architectural challenges and leading large-scale transformation initiatives to leverage technology as a competitive advantage.

How you’ll make a difference

  • Lead and implement cross-product technology strategies—such as cloud-native applications, web APIs, data mining, visualization, analytics, mobile applications, UI, and UX—to deliver customer value and achieve business goals for SVD applications.
  • Oversee architectural governance by establishing standards, making technology decisions (Make or Buy), evaluating product roadmaps, and addressing legal considerations.
  • Support product managers and business development with business cases, proof of concepts, and implementation strategies, while guiding the team's technical growth.
  • Establish guidelines for coding, testing, deployment, cloud services, and database usage.
  • Drive the standardization of digital architecture across SVD products.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field is mandatory.
  • Frameworks: Mastery of frameworks like TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), Zachman, or FEAF.
  • Cloud Ecosystems: Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
  • Security: Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance (GDPR, SOC2, HIPAA).
  • System Integration: Expertise in microservices, APIs, and legacy system modernization.
  • Technical Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in object-oriented programming languages on different platforms.
  • 10+ years of experience with different relational and non-relational database management systems.
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and documenting software architecture for various types of applications.
  • Extensive experience in:
    - Architectural patterns and software design patterns.
    - Cloud technologies.
    - UI frameworks.
    - Software deployments on various platforms.
    - Software development methodologies.

  • Additional Skills: Experience in infrastructure and networking is a plus. Must have some knowledge of AI and data analytics.
  • Certifications: Certifications in cloud technologies, programming, or database management systems are a plus

We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical thinking skills, capable of understanding the big picture and how small technical changes affect the overall system. Excellent communication abilities are essential for translating technical concepts into business language for non-technical leadership. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess the influence to persuade various departments to adopt new standards, even when it necessitates altering their established workflows.

We are seeking a self-driven and proactive candidate with strong leadership skills, capable of effectively leading cross-functional teams.
