A Snapshot of Your Day


The Proposal Bid Engineer for Controls and Automation (CA) within Services, will be at the forefront of aligning customer requirements with our company's values. Responsible for managing opportunities from qualification through to contract award.

This role requires tight-knit collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Regional Sales teams, other functions in business area, and groups which projects include controls and automation scope (e.g., Modernizations and Upgrades).

This position will report into the Project Development Manager of Controls & Automation and will be based in Lodz, Poland.


How you will make an impact


  • Responsible for all Controls and Automation bidding.
  • Prepare most competitive proposals in compliance with the customer requirements / technical specification.
  • Collect all vital information from customer, so the scope is clear when reviewing it with the whole team as needed.
  • Make sure the proposals are delivered in time as expected by the customer.
  • Efficient and successful proposal generation for Automation/Controls and Digitalization of projects with compressor equipment (comprehensive solutions and components).
  • Coordination and preparation of offers (considering Key Buying Factors, Offer strategy, Market price with all Scope and Supply requirements in alignment with internal/external Partners).


What You Bring


  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering for automation, control technology, electrical engineering, project management, or equivalent with relevant proven experience.
  • Min. 5 years of professional experience in engineering and control systems (hardware / software). Commissioning of control panel in workshop.
  • Experience with drawings like Schematics, Network Diagram, P&ID, mechanics and software S7, TIA Portal, Win CC, PCS7, will be considered a plus.
  • Industry knowledge in turbomachinery, compressor, energy and/or oil & gas applications.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business requires.
  • Fluent in English, Germany speaking will be a plus, since this position will support the bid’s team sitting in Duisburg.
