A Snapshot of Your Day

Work with project automation lead engineers and project managers to schedule and stage control system Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) for projects related to Marine (offshore and onshore), Fiber, Oil & Gas groups. As per system topology, “stage” the equipment, interconnect as shown, power up, load project specific software on the Automation System (AS)/Engineering Station (ES)/Operator Station (OS)/Operational Technology (OT) systems and ensure that all communications are properly setup and working. Witness Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) checks done for the process automation system(s) at supplier locations where automation equipment may be assembled. At the end of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), you will be asked to disconnect all temporary connections, power-down, palletize and prep for shipment. Ensure that the equipment is properly labelled and support logistics with bill of materials being shipped.

Provide support to engineers for engineering tools such as Fabasoft, COMOS, EPlan, etc.

Maintain / issue commissioning tool kits for engineers travelling to customer sites for installation and commissioning.

Support NIST 800-171 CUI compliant environments currently being managed. Support administrative and data-steward role for the AWS Gov cloud platform.
