A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Customer Credit Operations Team Member, you play a key role in executing daily customer credit management activities. You work closely with your team and leadership to ensure all aspects of customer credit operations—including SAP-based processes, credit limit controls, and business support—are managed efficiently and in compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Your focus is on delivering high-quality service, supporting business units, and contributing to continuous improvement within the team.


How You’ll Make an Impact

Credit Operations Execution

  • Carry out daily customer credit processes in SAP, including credit limit controls, order blocking/unblocking, and credit advance management.
  • Perform analysis of customer financial statements, credit histories, company profiles, and industry trends to assess their creditworthiness. 
  • Operate as a credit risk advisor to the BA's management and support their decision making on credit limit changes
  • Operate as a credit advisory to the BA's management and support their decision making on the release of blocked orders
  • Maintain and update customer credit data in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of changes.
  • Oversee in a governance capacity the calculation of valuation allowances for required entities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to help structure customer-specific risk mitigation instruments (e.g., parent guarantees, bank guarantees, collaterals).
  • Ensure all credit operations are executed accurately and in line with company policies and external regulations.
Business Support & Query Resolution
  • Act as a first point of contact for business units regarding operational credit queries, order status, and credit limit issues.
  • Provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders on SAP credit processes and troubleshooting.
  • Work with other departments (sales, finance) to resolve credit-related operational challenges.
  • Where required, meet directly with Business Units to support complex credit requirements, and collaborate with or support the manual rating team.
  • Responsible for highlighting to global governance team of  any anomalies seen in the automated rating model during operational use
Process Compliance & Improvement
  • Adhere to company credit policies and procedures in all operational activities.
  • Support audits and compliance checks by providing accurate operational data and process documentation.
  • Assist in ensuring operational readiness as systems transition to S4 or Agora environments.
Monitoring and Reporting
  • Generate and analyze operational reports on credit limits, blocked/unblocked orders, and outstanding credit exposures.
  • Perform regular including annual monitoring of customer credit limits and worthiness and perform any updates as required.
  • Support the completion of ICFR submissions and maintain controls for credit risk management.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in customer credit analysis, or a related field within an industrial, energy(knowledge of project finance, large-scale supply chains, and market trends), or engineering company, with large, complex entities or multinational clients is highly preferred.  
  • Proficiency in SAP (ECC/S4/Agora), especially in credit management modules, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and credit management software/tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global organization and collaborate across regions. 
  • Operational expertise in credit limit controls, order management, and credit advance processes.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and present insights effectively, strong governance mindset and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in English is required; fluency in additional languages (e.g., German, Spanish, etc.) is a plus.
