Material Handler I

Position Overview

Relocation will not be offered for this role.

Responsibilities:

Completes basic operational approved logistics processing on schedule (Warehouse / Transport / Dispatch).

·         Accurately pick and pack orders (Handheld scanners).

·         Operates power equipment including Reach Truck and 5k forklifts.

·         Able to lift 35 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis and be on feet 8 or more hours/day

• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, twist.

·         Available for overtime for up to 12 -hour days and on off days.

·         Ability to read, write and grasp metric measuring system.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, Experience and Abilities 

·         High School Diploma or equivalent.

·         Up to 2 years of experience into manufacturing field.

·         Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or material handling role is helpful.

·         Demonstrate the ability to count and record material data with a high degree of accuracy.  

·         Available for overtime for up to 12 -hour days and on off days
