A Snapshot of Your Day
- Maintain and develop the Product Safety System, supporting the creation of process instructions relevant to product safety throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure robust systems are in place for product conformity, identifying key subject matter authorities to uphold compliance with regulations and technical standards.
- Collaborate with Quality Management to plan and implement internal audits, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the Product Safety Management system.
- Identify training needs and provide recommendations to foster a culture of safety and quality awareness within the organization.
- Conduct risk assessments and lead investigations into product safety non-conformities, ensuring transparent communication with customers when necessary.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Engineering or another technical field, with a strong background in quality and safety management, ideally within the power grid industry.
- Certification as a CE coordinator with practical knowledge of conformity assessment processes for global market access (e.g., CE/UKCA/EAC/KC).
- Skills in risk estimation and evaluation, with familiarity in methodologies such as HAZOP, RAPEX, and FMEA.
- The ability to work independently and proactively explore new topics while collaborating closely with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Openness to travel 20-30% globally and professional-level proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
