A Snapshot of Your Day
You start the day usually in a coffee circle with colleagues from Lisbon, Muelheim and Berlin, checking emails, updating the dashboards and having first project team meetings regarding ongoing automation and other software projects. After lunch could be time to work on the solution for smaller automation projects, checking test scripts, communicating with external partners for further elaborate solutions or discussions with current or future internal customers about their wishes and ideas.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Analyze technical requirements for feasibility concerning hardware and software.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts for various solution approaches and simulate/test solutions.
- Create automated processes using automation scripts or Low-Code Business applications.
- Prepare and present cost estimates and justifications for project efforts.
- Document installations and configurations, and provide training for personnel post-implementation.
- Manage projects independently, troubleshoot errors, and identify optimization opportunities while observing market trends.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in technical informatics, computer sciences, or a related field with a focus on software development.
- Over 3 years of professional experience in software development or related areas.
- Proficient in English, and German skills are considered a plus.
- Knowledge of low-code software (e.g., Mendix, MS Power Apps) and coding languages.
- Familiarity with software automation tools (e.g., UiPath) is advantageous.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international virtual team while managing competing priorities.

The Field Data Team supports the field service technicians in Europe and Africa with a diverse team of specialists in documentation, data management and software project managers who create the installation manuals, manage the hardware and software equipment as well as build the digital landscape for the future field service. To be closer to our onsite teams and support our regional customers, we drive for internalization and diversity.
