A Snapshot of Your Day

The Field Service Project Coordinator functions in a support role to Project Managers (PM) and Field service resources within the territory on field service related PM activities! The position is accountable for project support activities to help the PMs drive operational excellence of projects within the designated territory including risk, commercial, operational, and close out activities for the local execution of field service projects within the territory. The Field Service Project Coordinator reports directly to the Territory Manager.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Support Territory Manager, Project Managers (PMs), Resource Managers with field service project bidding, booking, execution, and closing activities.
  • Assist PMs in developing, maintaining, and revising project schedules as needed.
  • Help assemble project documentation for won projects, addressing issues from the PDMT team and escalating to PMs for resolution.
  • Support project reviews, forecast submissions, and timekeeping for project resources as needed.
  • Aid in job cost tracking, verifying billable hours, reconciling timesheets, invoicing, and project closeout.
  • Act as the point of contact for AR overdue discussions and support PMs in maintaining project database, including administering kickoff meetings.

What You Bring

  • Completed High School or equivalent educational experience.
  • 5+ years project, order management, cost management related experience.
  • Occasional travel within the Canada might be required.
  • Knowledge and experience of the Oil & Gas or Generation Services industry or equivalent, demonstrated project support experience.
  • Experience with commercial and contractual processes and excellent analytical and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • MS Office suite skills  and knowledge of ERP system SAP.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in Canada without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

The Field Service Project Coordinator is a key team member of our Service Operations team in the Siemens Energy Compression and Steam turbine business. Together, the Service Operations team provides outstanding service to clients from an array of industries on a wide variety of projects from routine maintenance and troubleshooting to new unit or revamp installation & commissioning or equipment repair & overhauls.
