Do you want to contribute to ensuring that Siemens Energy products meet applicable technical standards and legal requirements? The Technical Regulation & Standardization team is looking for a dedicated Engineer who wants to play a key role in compliance, sustainability, and regulatory engagement for our medium gas turbines.

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Technical Regulation & Standardization Engineer, you will work in a multicultural environment and collaborate across functions to support implementation projects triggered by new or updated legislation and standards relevant to medium gas turbines. You will also monitor and analyze regulatory changes, participate in industry networks, and represent Siemens Energy in external discussions. Lifecycle assessments are an essential part of the role. The primary focus is ensuring compliance with legal requirements and contributing to efficient integration into our processes

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Contribute to implementation projects through the Product Development Process (PDP) when new legislation or standards are introduced or updated.
  • Monitor and analyse legislation and standards relevant to medium gas turbines.
  • Ensure regulatory surveillance and respond to consultations on proposed legislation.
  • Represent Siemens Energy in technical and regulatory networks.
  • Develop and conduct training related to legal compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into development processes.

What You Bring

  • Knowledge of technical standards and regulatory frameworks for energy products.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to represent internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in English and Swedish.
  • Experience with regulatory monitoring and implementation projects is a plus.
  • Degree in Engineering (MSc or BSc), preferably mechanical or environmental engineering.
