Join us as a Commodity Manager (f/m/d) at Siemens Energy, where you will provide strategic leadership for the Combustion commodity. Imagine working with a diverse range of functional areas and suppliers to develop and execute commodity strategies that drive improvements in cost savings, on-time delivery, quality, and lead times. You will be the key to your internal customers and partners’ success, ensuring timely contributions and transparent communication. In a highly motivated team with a can-do attitude, you will create significant value for our factories and customers while collaborating with commodity management teams to implement lasting improvements. How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Engage with stakeholders to develop strategies that align with Siemens Energy’s business objectives.
  • Lead supplier relationships and ensure the deployment of Cost Models for designated commodities.
  • Develop and execute category and vendor-level supplier strategies while fostering collaboration.
  • Implement processes for continuous improvement across regional sites and local KPIs.
  • Interface with Engineering, Quality, and Finance to resolve commodity-related challenges.
  • Negotiate quotes and contracts using traditional and advanced negotiation techniques.

What You Bring
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a similar function.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing techniques and excellent change management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data-driven decision-making.
  • Bilingual in English and German, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid SAP system knowledge as a user of the “Buy” module is required.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, 
modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
