- Engage with stakeholders to develop strategies that align with Siemens Energy’s business objectives.
- Lead supplier relationships and ensure the deployment of Cost Models for designated commodities.
- Develop and execute category and vendor-level supplier strategies while fostering collaboration.
- Implement processes for continuous improvement across regional sites and local KPIs.
- Interface with Engineering, Quality, and Finance to resolve commodity-related challenges.
- Negotiate quotes and contracts using traditional and advanced negotiation techniques.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a similar function.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing techniques and excellent change management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data-driven decision-making.
- Bilingual in English and German, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid SAP system knowledge as a user of the “Buy” module is required.
