We’re looking for passionate and brilliant engineers to be part of the global Engineering Support TMS (Total Maintenance Service) team, based in Taiwan. This individual will continuously track our customer power plant operational status, timely provide technical recommendations to ensure stable operation, successful scheduled or forced outages.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • This role will concentrate on providing assistance for Siemens Energy's heavy-duty gas turbines within the Region, encompassing mature frames (E, F) and advanced frames (H, HL).
  • Act as the main point of contact for Engineering regarding significant gas turbine service projects, dealing with operational issues, preparing for maintenance outages, and accelerating outage implementation.
  • Coordinate and provide Engineering recommendations from across the functional global teams in support of the preparation of maintenance outages.
  • Take lead of clearing team composed of Engineering experts to address onsite problems, speed up outages, and share RCA information during forced outages with Field Service and Project Management.
  • Provide technical support for regional Sales, Field Service, and Marketing.
  • Share technical solutions in internal and external meetings.
  • In this role, you'll handle various tasks with help from global specialists and software systems.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of solid knowledge of Gas Turbine technology and/or Steam Turbine technology or a fresh graduate with a solid engineering background.
  • Fundamental understanding of turbo machinery equipment. Basic knowledge of material, manufacturing, and repair technologies.
  • Good communication skills and experience in an international working environment.
  • Fluent in English Language (Written & Oral), other languages are beneficial.
  • German language or other Asian languages (e.g., Korean, Japanese) is a plus.
  • Strong interest in developing knowledge of technology and tools to achieve better results.
  • Willing to travel occasionally (up to 30%) for on-site inspection or troubleshooting as required and possibly working outside of regular business hours.

The team comprises engineers in various roles, such as generator service, BOP support, and PDS, each closely coordinated with the HQ team in Germany or the USA. This ensures technical expertise and customer closeness for delivering professional solutions.

Our Gas Services division provides environmentally friendly power generation solutions through maintenance and decarbonization. Offering both zero or low-emission power generation options and a comprehensive range of gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators all in one place. Additionally, we present decarbonization possibilities through our service packages, modernization strategies, and digitalization initiatives.
