A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team on the CELTIC Interconnector project, where you will play a crucial role in connecting France and Ireland through a High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) electrical connection. Imagine being on-site, actively contributing to the construction and commissioning of an HVDC station with a capacity of 700MW over a distance of 575km. You will support site activities, from the erection of electrical equipment to its commissioning, ensuring a safe and timely delivery of this vital energy infrastructure.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Safety Compliance: You will follow site-specific Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and company policies, identifying EHS risks and reporting incidents or unsafe conditions.

Wearing mandated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on-site is essential, as is ensuring that all personnel adhere to EHS standards, including conducting Last Minute Risk Assessments.

  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with Siemens Energy staff to arrange, coordinate, and manage material and parts handling, logistics, and subcontractor activities on-site, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Commissioning Participation: Once the erection is complete and the system is deemed safe, you will actively participate in commissioning activities alongside the commissioning team.

What You Bring

  • You are a hands-on individual with a passion for energy technologies.
  • Your dynamism, commitment, and interpersonal skills are key assets for this position.
  • You are open to long-term travel assignments in France
  • You are fluent in both French and English.
