A Snapshot of Your Day
As Technical Project Manager for Air-Insulated Switchgears (AIS), you work across both sales and project execution phases. Your day involves coordinating designs, aligning technical specifications, and collaborating closely with sales, procurement, factories, and engineering teams. You manage interfaces between AIS equipment and the overall substation design while ensuring schedules, quality, and technical requirements are met across multiple stakeholders and projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Take ownership of the technical scope for AIS equipment, including circuit breakers, in onshore high-voltage substations in Denmark
- Act as the technical design coordination lead during both bid and execution phases
- Ensure technically robust and fully integrated AIS solutions within complex substation designs
- Coordinate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and international AIS factories to ensure seamless project execution
- Support reliable energy infrastructure contributing to Denmark’s green transition and Siemens Energy’s mission to combat climate change
What You Bring
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience in substation design and engineering
- Strong expertise in Air-Insulated Switchgear (AIS) equipment and related subsystems within onshore high-voltage substations
- Experience as Project Manager on high-voltage AIS substation projects is an advantage
- Solid understanding of subsystem interfaces and structured design workflows
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven experience in supplier management and technical coordination
- Experience from an AIS equipment manufacturing environment is considered a strong advantage
