A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Technical Project Manager Back-Office, you support managing the qualification projects for Gas Turbine Blades & Vanes, meticulously preparing project plans, and closely tracking supply chain progression to ensure milestone adherence. You closely collaborate with team members and stakeholders from Engineering, Design, and PPQ to align on objectives. 

You administer risk management and quality control throughout the project lifecycle, conduct budget planning, and oversee costs. You prepare upcoming stakeholder meetings and enhanced project management tools. Your focus was on identifying potential process improvements to streamline future project execution.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Planning and monitoring of product and process qualification projects in the back office for Gas Turbines Blades & Vanes
  • Preparation of data for project plans and close monitoring of supply chain progress to ensure adherence to schedules and milestones
  • Collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including Engineering, Design, and PPQ Leads, to achieve defined project objectives
  • Risk management and quality control throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Support in budget planning and cost monitoring, including the preparation of materials for stakeholder meetings
  • Maintenance and further development of project management tools, along with the identification of potential improvements in project management processes and KPIs
What You Bring
  • Engineering degree in manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related discipline (minimum Bachelor’s level), combined with at least three years of professional project management experience, preferably in the gas turbine industry
  • Experience with turbine hot gas parts, including knowledge of manufacturing and testing technologies for blades and vanes (ideal but not mandatory)
  • Strong command of project management methods and tools, demonstrated through successful project delivery, crisis management, and competence in project finance
  • Practical experience in project planning, controlling, closure, and risk as well as opportunity/issue management, complemented by demonstrated leadership capabilities in virtual, cross‑functional, and international team environments
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Office 365 applications, especially advanced data processing skills in Excel, paired with independent working practices, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a strong focus on intercultural sensitivity, collaboration, and influencing
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, organizational talent, and a solution‑oriented mindset, supported by availability of at least four days per week, willingness to travel occasionally, and fluency in English (additional languages considered an asset)

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
