A Snapshot of Your Day

Join Siemens Energy as a Teamcenter Architect and take the lead in designing powerful, high-performing PLM environments that fuel our global business. You’ll architect secure, scalable systems, optimize performance across platforms, and bring stability to complex integrations with FMS, Pool Manager, Dispatcher, and T4S. Each day, you’ll work hands-on with the latest Teamcenter versions and Active Workspace Client, ensuring smooth upgrades, efficient deployments, and seamless user experiences. Whether it’s optimizing in Azure cloud, tuning SQL databases, or scripting automation, your work will directly enable innovation, sustainability, and transformation in the energy sector.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Design and architect scalable, high-performance Teamcenter environments (2-tier and 4-tier) to meet business requirements and ensure system reliability.
  • Support implementation, configuration, and customization of Active Workspace Client (AWC) to enhance user experience and system functionality.
  • Plan and execute upgrades to the latest Teamcenter versions, ensuring compatibility with existing integrations and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop and optimize system architecture for integrations with FMS, PoolManager, Dispatcher, and T4S, focusing on performance and scalability.
  • Perform security-related adjustments to operating systems (Linux and Windows) and Teamcenter environments to meet organizational compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design tailored Teamcenter solutions, including multi-site and cloud-based architecture.
  • Monitor and optimize Teamcenter systems (Dev, Training, QA, and Production) for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain admin scripts to automate routine tasks, such as system monitoring, backups, and configuration management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Teamcenter architecture, AWC, and integrations, escalating product bugs or unresolvable cases as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance to system administrators and developers, ensuring best practices in Teamcenter architecture and deployment.
  • Document architectural designs, configurations, and processes to support knowledge sharing and compliance.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of total working experience with Teamcenter, including at least 5 years focused on Teamcenter architecture design and implementation.
  • Knowledge about setting up TC services using Docker, Microservices and Azure Kubernetes in Microsoft Azure cloud environment. (must have)
  • In-depth expertise in designing and optimizing Teamcenter architecture, including multi-tier deployments (2-tier, 4-tier) and integrations with FMS, PoolManager, Dispatcher, and T4S in distributed environments.
  • Good knowledge about setting up TC SSO
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Workspace Client (AWC) setup, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting, including AWC integration with Teamcenter environments.
  • Proficiency with the latest Teamcenter versions (minimum Teamcenter 2312 and above), including new features, upgrades, and best practices for architecture design.
  • Strong understanding of Windows and Linux environments, including setup, services, monitoring, and security configurations for Teamcenter deployments using deployment center.
  • Expertise in Apache, Tomcat, and SQL database architecture, including maintenance, tuning, and performance optimization for Teamcenter environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter client setups (AWC, OTW, TCCS, RAC, HTTPS), including tracing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Deep knowledge of multi-PoolManager and Treecache setup for high-performance and scalable Teamcenter environments.
  • Proficiency in Teamcenter command-line tools for administrative tasks and automation scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Teamcenter-specific utilities).
  • Experience with Dispatcher setup, configuration, and issue resolution to support data translation and processing workflows.
  • Ability to design secure and scalable Teamcenter deployments across Windows Server (e.g., Windows Server 2019, 2022 etc.) and Linux platforms.
