Within the TI EAD controlling team you are contributing to the financial transparency and ensure that the organization is having the necessary information for decision making on hand.

You will lead a team of controllers, which includes, managing analysis of errors, initiation of any necessary corrections and leading process improvement activities or initiatives, if needed with support from the Nordics Head of Controlling.

You will supervise General Ledger, Closing and Reporting transactions and month-end-closing activities and ensuring they are recorded in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP quality standards or any other relevant regulations and guidelines.

You will be expected to collaborate and build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders such as regional accounting hubs, local business teams, and other partners within Siemens Energy’s local and global communities.


Leading the team:

  • Listen actively and continuously focused on stakeholder requests, managing complex and uncertain operational issues, while decisively moving forward in taking ownership of decisions, together with the Head of Controlling.
  • Share best practices with all relevant stakeholders.
  • With your relevant experience, you are leading the Cost Controlling Supporting team in all controlling/reporting issues and finding a resolution as a competent contact person.
  • Leading the team in process improvement solutions for your area of expertise.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Ensuring stability in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, actively providing support to General Ledger, Closing and Reporting team members as a relevant specialist and leader.
  • Working independently and proactively supporting the General Ledger, Closing and Reporting team members, also providing feedback for more complex issues to the Head of Controlling.
  • You are actively involved in leading, proposing and coordinating people and processes in continuous improvement initiatives as part of finance digitalization project. You will support projects related to General Ledger, Closing and Reporting, Cost center controlling.
  • Contributing and engaging in standardizing and automating our workflows and General Ledger, Closing and Reporting processes.

  • Mentor and develop team members from an operational point of view in accordance with business requirements. Also work closely together with the Head of Controlling to develop your leadership or operational skills in the field of General Ledger, Closing and Reporting.
  • You will be actively contributing to our strategy for building an environment for people, processes, and technology, using innovation as a personal growth driver.
  • Become more self-directed, build process ownership, and find meaning in your work by taking part in process improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • Build strong partnerships to win the trust of our stakeholders through respectful, agile, accountable behavior when interacting with colleagues, customers, partners, and Siemens Energy local and global communities.

What you can Bring
  • 2 years of experience in financial management and leadership
  • Very good MS-Office skills (especially in MS-Excel)
  • Very good understanding of business processes in SAP
  • Skilled at engaging with various stakeholders
  • Committed to guiding and mentoring Willingness to travel for knowledge transfer, training/workshops, if needed
  • You are open and communicative in nature as well as fluent English skills complete your profile
