A Snapshot of Your Day
As a TMS Generator Service Engineer, you will engage with a diverse team of engineering professionals, providing critical support for Siemens Energy Generators, particularly within the Middle East and Iraq. You will work on meaningful projects that enhance the reliability and availability of energy units, directly impacting our clients and partners while contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions. Expect a collaborative culture that prioritizes safety, innovation, and a customer-first approach, where your expertise will be valued and your contributions recognized.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide timely engineering support for technical queries from internal and external customers.
- Act as a key point of contact for technical issues related to generator operation, maintenance, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with a global network of specialists to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Support the preparation and execution of maintenance outages, including scope definition and resource requirements.
- Present and discuss technical solutions in internal and external meetings.
- Participate in post-outage reviews to identify improvement opportunities and lessons learned.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Intermediate knowledge of Siemens Energy Generator technology and other manufacturers.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and repair technologies, as well as materials.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience working in Iraq and familiarity with local operational contexts.
- Excellent collaboration and networking skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.
About the Team:
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
