Project Development Manager
Project Development Manager The Project Development Manager is a sales role within the SE TI CP New Equipment team, responsible for selling compressor trains to the Oil&Gas market in China and defined oversea territory, including compressors and drivers. He/She will work closely with the Proposal Development Engineer (PDE), Sales Business Analyst (BA), and legal experts to prepare bids and secure orders, until the project is handed over to the execution team. Responsibilities Develop customers and maintain customer intimacy Achieve sales targets in the Oil&gas market. Identify opportunities during the FEED phase and maintain accurate data in Siemens Energy CRM tool (Sales Force). Prepare budgetary proposals with support from the PDE. Organize GNG and BNB meetings as the project reaches different milestones. Lead clarification meetings with clients, supported by the functional team. Define target pricing, provide accurate sales intelligence, and develop winning strategies. Ensure strict compliance with Siemens Energy’s policies throughout the sales process. Be familiar with PM@Siemens Energy and the eLOA process. Lead final contract negotiations. Complete the order entry checklist upon project award. Participate in win/loss analysis meetings. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Turbomachinery. Over 5 years of professional experience in sales, preferably in turbomachinery or the oil & gas industry. Experience in large multinational companies is preferred. Background in Oil&Gas is a plus. Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
